all of these could break brackets and bands or damage the wires on braces. We know candies are SO tempting during the Halloween season. But trust us – you’ll be able to enjoy these treats sooner if you take good care of your orthodontic appliances now.
- Brush Up! Sweets and treats can cause cavities. Brushing and flossing are more important than ever during this Halloween season. Orthodontic patients should be especially mindful of brushing and flossing after consuming sugary and starchy foods
Commit to oral health. Avoiding chewing hard and sticky sweets before the Halloween season increases your rate of success and reduces the likelihood that you’ll break or harm your braces or fixed appliances.
