Does Your Dentist Have the Latest Technology?

Dental technology has come a long way in the last decade and keeping up with the trends is invaluable, not only for dentists but more importantly for the patient experience. Advances in cutting-edge technology provide more in-depth analysis for patient care, painless treatment and faster service.

Bonita Del Rey is in the top 1% of dental clinics that provides enhanced dental care with a higher technical standard. Dr. Espinosa began his career with the notion that he wanted to give his patients the very best care and in doing so has been at the forefront of the latest technology. He spends hundreds of hours on researching, learning and beta-testing some of the greatest advancements in dental technology to improve his practice.

It’s imperative our patients receive the most effective and efficient dental care, which is why we offer the latest in dental technology from diagnostics to treatment. State-of-the-art technology for us, means quick, easy, precise and painless visits for you,” says Dr. Espinosa.

Here is some of the technology Bonita Del Rey uses to practice the best dental care in Chula Vista:

The Wand® STA (Single Tooth Anesthesia) System – more often referred to as “painless anesthesia,” this local anesthesia method offers precise, reliable and consistent injections, rapid results and no unnecessary numbing. This is important as it reduces the risk of adverse reactions and tissue damage.

LASER Dentistry – Lasers are used to treat a number of dental problems including removing tooth decay, reshaping gums, removing bacteria during root canal procedures, removing gum tissue and speeding up the teeth whitening process. Using lasers means reducing the need for anesthesia, minimizing bleeding and swelling, faster healing and no use of a pesky drill – so less anxiety for the patient!

L-PRF Platelet Therapy – often used for surgical procedures such as extractions or dental implants, L-PRF Platelet Therapy is a new technology that reduces the healing process as well as post-op pain and complications. Bonita Del Rey is an early adopter of this therapy and has seen amazing results with patient recovery.

CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics, or CEramic REConstruction) – is the world’s first system for the fabrication of all ceramic dental restorations in one office visit. This means if you need crowns, veneers and/or bridges you can have these created and restored in one single visit. This is one of the most convenient, efficient and effective processes for restoring your smile.

3D XRay CBCT – the latest in dental X-Ray technology, the 3D X-Ray CBCT allows for precise analysis and diagnostics. This machines offers the highest quality of images and much more comfort for patients.

And there is still more, Dr. Espinosa and team also use visual microscopes to see 4x larger inside the mouth, electrical hand pieces that replace the hand drill, and monitors and headphones for you to use to make your visit more comfortable. Learn more about technology at Bonita Del Rey.
